For hire

Hire the bus.

A restored 1960s London Routemaster with a coffee bar below and a lounge above, available for private hire by agreement.

By agreement

Hire by agreement only.

RML2291 has been restored and refitted to an exceptional standard. She is not on public display and cannot be booked on the spot.

Every hire is agreed individually. We take the time to understand the event, the venue and the people involved, and a date is only secured once terms have been agreed in writing. It means we can give each booking our full attention, and look after the bus the way she deserves.

Not on public viewThe bus is kept privately and is not open to visitors. Photographs and video are shared as part of a proposal.
Agreed in writingDates, service, access and terms are confirmed in a written agreement before anything is booked.
Selected eventsWe take on a limited number of hires, chosen to suit the bus and the occasion.
Services

Three ways to hire.

Every hire includes exclusive use of the bus and our own crew. The detail is then shaped around the event, the location and the length of the engagement.

Questions

How far will the bus travel?

Anywhere in the UK as standard, and selected events abroad. Tell us where you are and we will talk through the logistics.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you can, particularly for summer weekends and longer hires. For short-notice dates, call us and we will always check.

Can the bus carry our branding?

Yes. We print banners to fit the side of the bus with your logo, artwork or message.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Menus are planned for each event. Let us know your guests' requirements when you enquire.

What do you need from the venue?

Access and level ground for a double-decker. We will go through access, parking and power with you or your venue.

Can we see the bus before booking?

The bus is kept privately and is not on public display. Once we are discussing your event, we share detailed photographs and video as part of the proposal.

Is every enquiry accepted?

No. We take on a limited number of hires each year and make sure each one suits the bus and the occasion. We will always tell you plainly whether we can help.

Will our enquiry be kept private?

Yes. Enquiries are never shared or publicised without your permission.
